  • create something new. free your mind and write down every thought. paint with materials you have never used before. peek outside your comfort zone.
  • smile at the people walking past you on crowded streets. hum when you’re alone. trick your mind into being happy, even at times when you doubt you are.
  • try to go outside every day, to breathe the fresh air and to really see how the city moves, with every second. try to remember that not a single second should be taken for granted.
  • connect with people. try to understand what and how they think about certain things. do not be afraid to ask questions.
  • practise self-care wherever you can. treat yourself to something when you feel like you deserved it, for working hard, trying, or even managing. you do not need to justify being kind to yourself.
